Do any of you think benching 225 @ 140 is good?

Better than benching 215, not as good as 235. If you want an objective measure, rather than our subjective view points, the New York State record for the 148 pound weight class in USAPL competition (as of September 2007) is 320 (with strict form - i.e. bench with a pause) for Teen 18-19 division. The NY USAPL record for the 132 pound Teen 18-19 class is 240 pounds.
For another point of comparison on bench and other lifts, see Dennis B. Weis, The Ultimate Strength Chart, Are You Strong or Not?

i find it strange that a 16 pound weight difference in those classes yields an 80 pound difference in bench. i'm rather suprised there is no 132 pound guy out there that has benched 240? doesn't seem right to me... by the way i'm suprised that you can bench your bodyweight 25 times at 140 and not bench more than 225. i'm not trying to rag on you though, 225 is a good number. 25 times is just a very good number.

Not a lot of competition at that weight class for that age group would be my guess as to the 80 pound difference. Probably was not wearing gear either. If raw, benching 240 at 132 is 1.8 times bodyweight. Not bad. I am sure that if one looks at national records or records from other lifting organizations, the split would be less. As far as xtremetris getting 140 25 times, the issue is not one of absolute strength; rather stamina is paramount. My best sanctioned competition lift on bench raw is 300 at 181 (1.65 times bodyweight), and my best reps effort was 27 reps at 185 this past summer. xtremetris best 1RM on bench is 1.60 times bodyweight, so it makes sense to me.
