Long Time No See
Hey guys I am an older member here who got away from the board scene for a while. I am sort of back now since my freshman year in college is over. Here is a little video my TP and I shot back in March. They are reverse band deadlifts. His form is a little shakey, but it is much better now.
I am Mike my TP is Dan. Since the video I have cleanly pulled 405 from the floor with no bands. Looking for an upper 400 DL by the end of the summer.
Right now I am 5'3'' 168. In the video I was in the low 160's. Dan is a lot smaller then I am he tips the scales around 135.
Anyways here is the video. Anyone who remembers me from the old days this has come quite a ways lol!

Mike you have good deadlift form bro. Looks like you do a good job keeping your shoulders back behind the bar. Real nice lifts man...
Edit: Oh and seeing bands on there made my nipples hard as bricks. Nice to see you using the tools to get strong  .

Thanks Firehawk. I have always been pretty good at deadlift. My squat on the other hand has taken a lot of work and does not look half as good. Hopefully I can get this weekends ME session on tape. I am going for a full range PR in briefs.
As for the bands I don't think my training would be half this far along without them.
I am pretty sure I know you from over at IA's board. I post over there under the name of Heretic. That is a good place with some quality info.

Good **** dude, nice pull. Next time you pull try to thrust your hips out at the beginning of the lift to get a stretch reflex going.
Also I dont know if you do this already but if you're breathing in big make sure the air is going to ur stomach and u have ur shoulders down as low as possible.
Thats a damn good deadlift for your weight though. Im 30 lbs heavier and my pull isn't too much bigger than yours.

Thanks bro. I already have the breathing technique down. It helps me get my belt really tight when I breathe into my belly. That is why 455 went no where the first time. Bad air. Like I said I can't wait to get some updated stuff up. This a few months old.
BTW I am a huge metallica fan. I am digging the Disposable Heroes quote in the sig. Hopefully the new CD is better then St. Anger!

This was shot yesterday. This is my first time squatting with my straps up and first time in knee wraps. The knee wraps make the walkout harder. I was a little shakey looking on the first one.
