That sounds great! You should do it. I sucked at tumbling (unless it was by accident,....like the time I did the splits accidentally down the side of a very long steep hill because I slipped....) Oh, and I can't do the splits. So it made for an interesting experience. The flipping and tumbling came afterwards. I always found it beautiful to watch.

I'd look forward to your postings.....

I just spent some time checking this thread out. It has been a while. I remember viewing most of the posts when they first came out.

Most of the links no longer work. Too bad - does anyone know why (Dan, Greg and Firehawk)?

It would sure be nice if this thread resumed with new posts, whether they are PRs or not.

Here is one of mine - while not alot of weight by any standard, it was a PR for me and I hope I will be adding more in the future.

YouTube - 118 lb. squat snatch - a PR for me

I can't pull up any of the links, it says they aren't available. Plus, for some odd reason when I click on my notice (the email that gets sent to me informing me of a new post), I actually get sent to the OLDEST post (so I'm automatically routed to some posts from 2005 and 2006 in some cases, or at least, to the posts that started the thread, not the most recent one I was supposedly alerted to). Very odd.

123 lb. snatch today at a BW of 190 lbs. Something between a power snatch and an ATG squat snatch but I'll take it and try next time to make it 100% ATG.

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPXAmpKEg0E

I am having fun but it is a frustrating fun as these lifts are so technical, like learning how to tee off playing golf, something I never learned.

I got bored and stale with BW-only training, and I currently can't run due to a heel injury that I hope heals soon.

I'm going to stick with the Oly lifting but try to do a better job than I have as of late getting in pullups and dips. And I do want to resume running but on a much lower volume level.
