Yeah the world record is 1005 on the bench right now .

This was a lift in the gym not in a meet. Gene hit 1005 in a meet therefor that lift is considered the WR.

Id be shocked if Mendy hit 1000 in a meet to be honest.

They posted the same thing on my forum the other day and everybody talked more about how jacked the spotter is over the lift lol

If im not mistaken the spotter is a bodybuilder, nevertheless, impressive as hell anyways i agree.

Why do you think he's a bodybuilder?

I wouldn't think he is because his abs stick out. I never seen bodybuilders with abs that stick out like that. Looks more like a powerlifter or strongman to me...
