all that is good stuff. read it, know it, use it.
as far as squats go. be sure to go all the way to/just under parallel. always use good form and keep the weight on your heels. also, as with any power movement, incorporate explosive movements. take a day out of the week to do
dynamic effort squat and bench. (dynamic effort=less weight but moving it as fast as possible with perfect form) since you are doing cleans you should be good on legs. you might still want to do a little speed squat.
