I've been looking up the bulgarian training system and with some modifcation, tried to come up with a feasable version i could try.

just wondering if there might be something i might switch out with other things? Any advice/insight is welcome

thanks

(the rep scheme is bascially singles to about 90% to 95% then down a little for a few more singles)

PM: Front Squat, Snatch, Jerk, Jerk pull

tues/thurs/sat

Abs will always be done in th PM and i will strive to have atleast 9 ab sessions throughout the 12 workouts.

A program I have used with some modification is described here:

http://weightliftingexchange.com/ind...216&Itemid=111

I really like singles and Mr. Dube's explanation about why he likes singles makes alot of sense to me.

Joe Dube frequents the Go Heavy forum and is very giving of his knowledge. If you are ever interested in a critique of your lifts, post your videos there and you'll get great feedback.

By the way, I talked to an Olympic lift buddy of mine who has coaching experience about the lack of reply to your question on the Go Heavy forum about the Russian training program. He said your question was too open-ended. Try being more specific next time and you'll probably get some responses.

The biggest factor to keep in mind is preparation leading into this program. If you previously only trained 4-5x per week then 2x/day training 6x per week is going to destroy you.

But if your work capacity is high then you will have great success with a program like this.
