Started a new routine about a month ago. I
bench press three times a week. The first day I lift very heavy going past my 1RM using boards, the second day is a speed day using aroun 50-55% of my max, doing ten sets of three reps as fast as possible, waiting about a minute between sets. The third day is again heavy, but only doing three sets of 1-3 and not incorporating any more
chest exercises in my workout that day.
I have already noticed some decent progress.
Has anyone tried anything like this? And if so, what were the results? Thanks
