it's possible

ihaveadog, if you are really serious about this goal, think that it will not be bicep strength that gets you there, this feat requires grip/wrist/forearm/and all round arm strength (grip plays a big role I truely believe after my own experiances).

and you should be doing deadlifts and squats as well to enhance this journey

I was in the same house with a guy for a dinner and workout who performed this very feat (curling a 100lb bell on a precher bench for reps on t.v.) he weighs 160 on average he was an arm wrestling champion, he's big into gripstrength.

good luck!!!
don't forget to squat eithier.

If this forum had a "reputation" option, I'd so give you rep for that post.

Because if you can curl 100 people say your beastly as **** and thats a good feeling and thats my goal, ill reach it too, im determined

Cheat curls maybe. With halfway decent form, I don't think so.

Just follow Luke's advice on this one. Build strength everywhere and your bicep strength will also improve.

Curling 100lbs CLEANLY in one hand? Who knows. I can't even come close but perhaps you can someday. But don't get yourself a permanent injury in your attempt by pushing farther than you body is able to handle. Just train, train hard, eat well, and you will get results.

Warning, beastliness takes years and years to achieve. No matter how big and strong you get, being a true beast won't come until you are fully grown and have "muscle maturity". The mature muscles of say a 27 year old who's been training since he or she was your age look best.

But you know where true strength comes in? When you are 50+ and still doing it. There is this one dude I know and have a great deal of respect for. He's like 52 or something and is deadlifting over 500. Squatting - I don't remember how much...but still doing it. Curling? I don't know but way more than me.

The point to all of this is, it doesn't matter how big you get or how strong you get as long as you do it and keep improving. That's what you need to do. Work hard but work smart and you'll still be doing it in your 20's, 30's, and beyond. Or you can crash and burn trying to do it all at 17 and have the finished product tomorrow.

Good luck to ya in reaching whatever goal you set though.

No way to know that. I always heard that 1" is roughly equivalent to 10lbs of muscle but don't know how accurate that is as I have no experience going from a skinny guy to a big guy...I went from a fat guy to a smaller one. My biceps went from 15" at 300lbs of lard to 16" at 200lbs of not lard.

Someone with a similar bodytype as yours who has grown well could possibly give a more accuate answer. I still say don't worry about it so much, just do the best that you can with what you have and make the very best of it you can.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot. If you want big arms, train the triceps. They are most of your upper arm mass. Big Tris = big arms.

Then all that is left is to eat enough, get enough rest, and grow. Now stop worrying so much and lift.
