Olympic Lifts

Hey all,

I'm looking to add 2 more Olympic Lifts to workout. Can anyone tell me which ones are the best for explosive power and speed? The ones I do now are cleans, bench, squat, and deadlifts. Also, if anyone could point me to a site that has a guide to proper form when each of these lifts it would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've been considering adding some olympic lifts to my routine. I just have no idea what day to put them on (ie back, shoulders, legs, etc.) and what exercises would they replace? Seem to be some pretty major movements...

I do my clean and jerk on back day. I replaced upright rows with them. However, you can just as well add them on shoulder day.

Adding these exercises to your routine is a good reason to go to a full body workout two or three times per week.

Maybe next time I change my routine up I'll completely overhaul it and make it more powerlifting/olympic style. I like 4-5 day body part splits, I don't think I'd be happy with 2-3 full body. But good point, I'll see what I can figure out.
