Possible tendon injury

My left knee has always been a problem for me. Not a major one that is debilating but one that has annoyed me sometimes. (i got knee surgery after i broke my femur when i was around 7).

Recently the tendon on my left leg on the outside left part to the patella has been hurting. I can make it slide back and forth and it feels a little inflammed.

It is uncomfortable to stay in a low crouched position and im worried that i may have done something.

Has anyone had such an experience?

I dont think i ruptured it though because there is no visible bruising but who knows.

I took this week off from leg work and i may see a doctor next week if it continues to hurt.

I had a lot of problems with my left knee too. The best piece of advice I can give you is to go see a doctor.

Next time you squat or deadlift watch your form in the mirror, or have someone else watch it. Another thing is to make sure your legs are warmed up (I sprint for 3 min. before doing deadlifts and squats; this helped lessen a lot of the pain).
