Reference Videos, Charts, etc

http://www.midwestbarbell.com/videos.htm

Wide variety of videos here. They don't do everything the same way we do at my gym, but you're going to get differences of opinion from gym to gym. Nevertheless, nice collection of reference videos here.

Additional Reference Clips...These are from a powerlifting gym in North Carolina...

Glute/Ham Raise Variations

Sumo Style Deadlift with Bands

Conventional Style Deadlift with Bands

The guy in the conventional deadlift view holds the world record for his age group in the bench press, and is also the WPO champion in the 220 weight class i believe. He has a 700+ shirted bench. I believe he just nearly missed 800 in the gym.

Great site for record breaking competition lifts at various powerlifting meets.

very nice - i have a quibble with the "low box squat" in the first link: imo, she's leaning way too far forward. had she any weight on that bar, she'd be screwed.

Yeah as soon as you see her knees go forward, she's not sitting back enough. Her calves should be parallel or even further back with a wide stance.

Also when she benches competition style, she moves the bar straight up instead of back over her face. This way is less effective and it's proven less effective. I also don't like the way they do board work. If you're using alot of weight and do it the way they are showing to, then you can get rotator cuff injuries.
