Yes, thumbless, hands pronated pull ups. Otherwise known as a 'tactical pull up' as it's supposed to mimick climbing a wall or pulling yourself up to a window ledge. I suppose 10 reps with 246lbs isn't too bad, huh?
Either way, I'll need to improve on that big time if I want to score higher in this challenge. If you notice, most of the guys that compete in the TSC are 'kettlebell guys' and have lean wiry physiques, most of them well under 200lbs. The next event is in September.
As for now though most of my
upper body training has been sidelined - I banged up my hand pretty good last weekend. I thought I had just bruised it, but I'm starting to wonder...
