hey Tom, I had scanned through "dr. dardens" HIT forum, and veiwed some of dr. Kens' posts, you should check these out, he goes into details about his injuries and how they have happened over the years, remember also Ken played alot of football when he was younger.

Okay, I did 185 x 20 today.

I wanted to quit by 15... hahaha, but I continued!

Following that I did 205 x 15.

Its not necessary to do any more sets (for legs that is), right?

I just add more weight next week?

Wow that is pretty fast for 200 reps in my opinion. What was your range of motion?

I sit on a chair. Well not sit I hit it with my butt and pop back up. I have to work on the posture though after about 120 or so I start to lean forward.

what about high rep front squats. its even more mentally challenging because of the placement of the bar/ keeping your elbows up when your body wants to quit. what about 200lbs front squat for high reps. just a change up from back squats.

sat. heavy yoke carry/ high rep squat-

785.5 x 5-10' / 210 x 21

smashed this from (performance wise) from lasttime 1.5lb increase on yoke, 8lb increase on squats. all 21 squats were breathing squats, thats how hard it is after carring that weight beforehand.

I had more in the tank!!!! best training I've ever done!!!

My focus with the high rep leg work has drifted away from squatting, simply because I found one of my legs to be weaker than the other. Significantly weaker. So lately I've been doing a lot of unilateral leg work with machines as well as lunges.

I'm still in the 20+ rep range, it's just my priorities have changed for the time being.

WOW - that certainly is impressive. Not only that -- squatting built her a really nice butt! (not trying to be a pig, simply enjoying beauty when I see it)

Beautiful indeed! I think few things are more attractive than a well built woman performing a snatch / overhead squat.

Although that was very impressive, I personally think overhead squatting to failure is risky business - I'm not sure the benefit outweighs the very real possibility of losing the weight wrong.

I have to agree about the failure thing. He back was wobbling a bit too much for my comfort. Certainly not worth an injury.
