To be honest, this is the first time that I've every actually thought I had the genetics for this type of stuff. Who'd guess that I'd be the first person in my family to ever lift actively. The only guy at my highschool w/ a bigger squat is a year older and takes pro-hormones as well as a plethora of other supps, so I'm feel pretty positive about myt progress.

And I'll update my sig after next week, when I know where I stand for everything (it's combine week for my football team).

It's a great lift. Check into what kind of records are set by 16 or 17yr olds. You gotta be getting up there dude.

Guy at my gym is in the top 10 in powerlifting USA for a 755 squat at 198 lbs. He's 24.

Nice job Dark. I'm sure you're at 265-275 max right now, maybe even more .

All i did differently to hit that was change my foot positioning on the bench from benching on tippy toes to flat footed and a wider base.

It feels uncomfortable but the results speak for themselves. I also have a pair of bands coming in so im hoping ill hit 300 before summer is over!!!

Lastnite:

front squat- 260lbs 1-single, ass to grass olyimpic style with my elows striaght out, pretty tough, I'll go for multiple singles in the next week.

deadlift- 415lbs 2-reps, standing on a 45lb plate, close stance, double overhand hook grip.
next week I'll do 420 for 1, then do multipule singles with 420 the following week.

Nice front squatting, Luke. Those are a freaking bear compared to standard bar-on-traps squats.

yeah, I'm going to try some reg. squats soon, I'll see how well "fronts" and "partials" starting from the bottom position improved my reg. backsquat.

Just 420? I think u should go up at least 10-15 from whatever you can do for 2. Just my opinion . Why short yourself?

this is too keep my mind strong, remember I'm hitting some tough weekend workouts, in a few weeks I'll hit a 450+ deadlift standing on the floor, I'll be hitting over 500 at the end of the year, then 600 will be in the works, it's all good, playin it smart.
