So you total up your bench/squat/powerclean instead of bench/squat/deads? I'm sure if you used the latter you'd probably be up in the 1300's or higher

That's one badass squat.

310 bench today! I'm floating right now. Good week for me. Now it's time to take a week off and start back fresh a week from monday (first week-day of summer).

Well, I use hex bar deads, and with hexbar deads
310 + 585 (approx) + 535 = 1,430

I'm not sure where I am with sumos right now though, because coach doesn't have us do them.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments

How much do you weigh? In michigan, the state RECORD for an 18 yr old CLEAN teen lifter is 1450 @ 275 lbs. At 220, the record is 1285.

Pretty amazing. You'd have the state record in Michigan if you competed and got passing lifts.

Records were from the APF michigan site.

The record for the APF Michigan 18 yr old teen (not necessarily clean lifter) is 1480 @ 242 class, and 1600 at the 272, and also 1393 in the 220 class.

You got people beat no matter what. Surprising!!!

I'm at 251.4 right now. (Rounded down to a nice 250 for Sig purposes )

It's funny that you say clean because there are people all over my team supplementing with all kinds of stuff, a lot of which is very shady. I don't even use whey protein and generally eat like crap. I suppose I've got great luck in the genetics department (don't get me wrong, lifting 3 times a week I've missed (at most) two lifting sessions in the past 6 months, so I do work for it)

Oh well, all in all, good week (also missed all my classes today to go to the state trackmeet and cheer on my friends. They lost, but we left early and had a cookout at a friends house. Perfect end to a great week.)

What are the records from some of the lighter classes? I knew at least one guy in HS totalling around 1200+ at less than 160 lbs. Seems like the record total for Texas at 165 is 1527 for the USPF!

220 record total is 1774

242 is 1753

and 275 is 1862

and this is the 18-19 year old division, crazy sh*t. The 16-17 y/o records aren't that far behind either.

Are these accurate? I just got them off their website so I'm not that sure.

They most definetely are accurate. Different feds have different strictness for lifts though...

Jeremy from fortifiediron.com at like 220 pounds at 16 or 17 benched 500 pounds or more i believe so it happens you just gotta watch for it.

Got 235 x 1 on the bench press today when I missed 230 x 1 last week. I'm so damn close to BW x 1.5.
