The American Open in King of Prussia was inspiring.

More inspiration - 215# bench press without a bench press shirt - a new PR.

I am told that the shirts are giving 50-100 lbs now.

Tonight I am pulling the 1 Rep max for deadlift.

You were told wrong. Shirts don't give anything without training. Pulling 100 pounds from your shirt takes a lot of work.

Deadlift tonight was for 405 #, 420 # stayed put.

That's all the weight training for 2004.
Until 2005, it is active rest.

As for the Bench Press shirts, it would seem that they transfer the weakest link or position in the lift as compared to lifting without one; say from against the chest to higher up in the movement. This may explain why 10 years ago I felt I never got much from a shirt, as I wasn't getting trapped on my chest, I was failing a couple of inches short of the lockout.

Does this qualify for the powerlifting section, because I'm really happy, I hit 3 new PR's last night on the standing cambered bar curls. I got 60 lbs for 9 reps, then 65 lbs for 6 reps, and then 70 lbs for 4 reps - YIPPEE!!!!
