Good job man. I am getting left behind here... havn't deadlifted in 2 and a half months.

Sunday is going to be pathetic. I don't imagine I'll be using more than 4 plates...

EDIT: Don't feel like cluttering this thread.

Had my first deadlift workout today in nearly three months. Worked up to 365 x 8 on sumos and did 325 x 14 for shrugs for 2 sets. I'd say my max is still a good 450 or possibly more. At least I havn't fallen too far behind...

New PR on bench I got 315 for 3. The most reps I have ever done with that weight.

Last Friday I snatched a 24kg KB for 120 reps in 5 minutes... thought the pain in my chest and lungs would never go away. Only put the bell down once and the "set" went 20/20/20/20 (approx. 30 sec rest) 10/10/10/10

Yesterday I snatched a 24kg KB for 120 without putting the bell down. This was not a timed test, just "practice".

I'm training for the The Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC)

Good job!

I almost got 315 x 2 today raw but my form was off. Got 295 x 1 with a long pause right afterwards and the did tons of sets with bands.

I did some kettlebell swings for the first time last workout to hit my hips. Felt really good actually. Used 2 50lb dumbbells for a few sets and afterwards walked like I got sexually molested.

Dan - the TSC sounds like one of the best strength competitions I've ever seen. Very unique and well balanced. When is the competition?

Couple weeks back I finally hit a mark I've been targeting for almost three months - clean and press 155 lbs.

Clean was never the problem. It was getting that sumbitch overhead that always did me in. My weight at the time was around 177.

March 3rd, at different locations all over the country. Check the website for locations near you. It should at least be interesting to watch, if not compete.

: Putting 155 overhead is no joke. Nice job.

Training is back on.

Kettlebell overhead presses: 70 lb kettle bell x 9 each arm. 50 lb kettlebell press x 18 each arm (could do more but my left arm is much weaker than my right)
