Excellent squatting Kim, is that a full squat or a PL squat, I can't remember which you are basing your Smolov off of.

It's powerlifting stance although i think i may be good for a single at that weight. I'm not going to try though haha, not by myself anyways.

What's the difference between a full squat and a PL squat? You talking about how in competition you'd only go about 1-2 inches below parallel as opposed to ass to gras, or an olympic squat?

The skinnier legged fellas have a bit easier time getting deeper than the bulkier fellas. I go down where my hammies are sitting on my calves, but this is about 3 inches below parallel, and as deep as I can get. I guess it depends on the stance tho too. I use a wider stance, not real wide but wider, spread the weight more.

I'm pretty sure that's it Fire. My working squat is ATG, but when I max I don't go that low.

Yea man here u go:
http://www.ontariostrongman.ca/Resou...squatcycle.htm

It was more probably a 60-70 pound gain in the squat actually but it was furtherly exaggerated by me not lifting heavy in a while. Still awsome results though.

If you had proper form on those squats dude, tha's nothin to be ashamed of. I bet you 90% of people that think they are squatting properly, aren't.

At least they trying though .
