I can't seem to link right to the slideshow but if you go here and scroll to the bottom, click on Turkish get-up CrossFit Exercises
Tim might have a more accurate link, but that's the best example I could find for you...he might even be doing something completely different...i don't know what the difference is between a Turkish get-up and regular get-up.

No, that's it, Nadia. There's no difference, just a shorter name.
Here's a couple more examples:
YouTube - Turkish Get Up
YouTube - 80lbs BB Turkish Getup
It's an absolutely great, intense core exercise.

What did the guy in the first youtube video say that he calls them? Turkey durkey? I listened 3-4 times but couldn't understand him!

5/3/07: snatch 120. Almost got the 125. Frustrating because I know I'm plenty strong enough to do more, but it's all about skill. Oh well, it's still a PR.

Only a 5#PR but a PR nonetheless!
Deadlift: 230x1
After I hit my PR of 225 a few months back I started to struggle. The next time I went for a 1RM I could only get 210. Added some more heavy low rep days in and thankfully I was able to hit a new PR.

Deadlift: 365 x 1
Previous best was 345 about a month or two ago. I think I still have more in me too.
And nice pull Nadia!

Shirted bench - 405x1
Had some more in the tank too but this is a 35lb PR for me. First time using the shirt since my meet last fall.

You keep moving that bench up and your squat and deadlift numbers won't seem quite as freakish... relatively anyway.

First time using a suit in almost 10 months. Borrowed a guys suit... size 37... a little big and went for it.
Low box squat w/safety bar: 275 + green monsters x 2, 295 + green monsters x 1.
About 430 lbs, and 450 lbs of tension at the top. Measured at 200 for my partners, but I'm slightly shorter so I'm cuttin the weight.
Benched 295 + double wrapped black minis off 3 boards - x 1.5 haha. Got close... not close enough though. Tension around 400, maybe more.
Hoping for 550 squat and 405 bench by July. Weight is at around 225 - 230. Dropping to 198 lbs currently.
How's that for an update?
