to split or not to split

Dang, sorry its been too long since i've posted on here...

I'm in somewhat of a dilemma now...I'm having problems with my split with C&J...when the weight gets heavy i wont split far enough. My front leg wont move forward at all, my back leg splits okay, but then this causes me to throw the weight out infront of me, thereby failing the lift

i've been really thinking and tinkering around with the squat jerk...so i was wondering if ya'll can please give me some pros/cons, yays/nays..etc. to the squat jerk..

i know that it requires a lot of shoulder flexibility and i'm hoping that it might carry over into helping me on my subpar snatch...

thanks a lot guys

well to help with shoulder flexibility, I believe some1 here does shoulder dislocates - whatever the hell those are, I dont know? But I wanna find out myself what they are, because they sound very beneficial.

I know one person in particular that will prolly have good advice for ya.

We don't have alot of depth here to offer you. As much as I hate to do this, why don't you go over to www.goheavy.com and pose your question there. I know you'll get some good pro and con advice.
