20 months after a baby...15% BF
Hey All!
I have done alot of replying, but have never posted my pic. So, I thought it was about time. lol! I recently had my BF measured by a doctor & I am currently at 15% BF.( which is higher than what I measured myself at previously. So, I apologize for my mis-calculation.) What do you guys think? I figured you all should see how far I have come. After all I have looked at all your progress pics. Kudos! You are ll looking fantastic! I have been slacking some. But still keeping my work out up. I walk 2-7 miles a day ( depending on the day) & work out anywhere from 30min-1.5 hrs( depending on day) doing, crunches, weights, running in place, push ups, etc. I had a baby girl 20 months ago. So I am fairly proud of what I look like now. Although I would like to get a very lean, tone body. That is my goal. I would love to compete in Fitness competions. But, as you can tell. I still have a ways to go! ha ha ha. any advice you are willing to give I am willing to hear. I am pretty much only capable of working out from home right now. thanks.

Thanks guys~~~
: Thank you both for your responses. I appreciate it. I apologize about not having a before pic, Honostly. I hadnt even thought about it when I was posting. ha ha ha. I am going to have to look on a few on my burnt cds to see if I can find a pic. If not....I am going to use this as my before pic & then post another pic in the future when I have made more progress in toning! How does that sound? Wish you guys all the best! Have a great day.

Great Work! You should be very proud of yourself. A before pic at about 8 months would really show the difference.

For those who didn't notice, the title of the thread is "20 months after a baby...15% BF". That pretty much gives an idea of the "before" condition.
Excellent work, Fit_4_Life! :

Thank you for all your wonderful responses. You have made me feel really good about myself, & even more proud of my accomplishments. I appreciate it. I have pretty much looked like the picture, even right after birth. I was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight by 8 weeks. ( which was wonderful, because I gained 35lbs with my daughter.) & was back in my jeans by like 12 weeks or so. So I am still the same size & everything. Just more toned. I am 21 years old, 5'5, 118 lbs, size 3 jeans. But I will try looking for another pic so you can compare. Have a great day.

You look excellent. How did the doctor measure your BF%, because 15% is extremely low for a female, you should be around "ab level" at that percentage.

I went into the Doctors office. They have this measurer. You hold onto it with both hands & It pretty much zapps a current threw your body Measuring your body fat. It doesnt hurt. You actually cant feel a thing. It is very accurate.
I know 15% is fairly low. I work out alot. Im an athlete of sorts. Always have been. I worked out during pregnancy as well. Mild things such as long walks, dance aerobics, things of that sort.
Thank you for all your replies! I appreciate it. Means alot.
Have a great day everyone!
Happy 4th of July!
