New guy on the site

Hello everyone.
I'm excited about being a member of this forum.
My name is Duane and I'm from the Raleigh/Durham area.

I hope to gain a lot of insight from various members regarding workout tips, routines, and nutrition advice. I have recently re-started my training program and looking to STICK WITH IT til the end. I want to make this into a lifestyle and NOT a seasonal fad. I've always been a fitness enthusiast and someday hope to become a trainer myself. But I have a LONG way to go before I get there. I am hoping to find others who struggle with their eating/nutritional habits. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who struggles in this area. But anyway, I am so glad to be a part of this site and looking to improve my overall fitness and am looking forward in corresponding to you in the near future. More to come later.

Duane

Welcome to DF. Check out the stickies in each section, they provide loads of great information. Start yourself an online training journal to hold yourself accountable and help you stay focused. And of course, any questions you have...just ask.

Thanks for welcome, V.
As a matter of fact I was considering posting an online journal/blog.
And I agree, this would keep me more accountable. So stay tuned!

Welcome duane -- and be assured that lots of people struggle with the same issues you do.

That's good to know, Iron Man. Let's me know that others are going through some of the same issues on this path of "fitness success." But I know I will get motivated by others on this site.
