i LOVE the name Zoey! I just wonder what happens when the girl grows up and wants to be a business women? I read an article once about giving your kids strong names and how that equates to their success in their career.
i can't remember but part of the article or maybe this was from a book i read but it talked about if your name is lets say "Jennifer" but you go by Jenny and you are out of college it's time to move to Jennifer, apperently you get more respect in the workplace when you don't use childood nicknames.

Yeah zoey is a great name for a teenager, it brings to mind bubbly, fun and pretty. however a businesswoman named Zoey ... not so good.
gymgirl that is interesting about choosing strong names for your kids : it really annoys me when people give their kids ridiculous names based on some tv character or a crazy whim. Don't they realise the kids have to grow up with that name?!
can you imagine standing up in class and introducing yourself as spock, or banana..

Dweezil and Moon didn't seem to mind. But what do I know, I was named after a poodle up in Michigan that bit me when I was three.

I like the name Zoey too. That's why I named my siamese cat Zoey! After having a pet with that name, I don't think I could name my child w/ the same one. Her personality fits the name though... energetic and friendly.. with a bit of a crazy side.

There's also Poet Sienna Rose, the daughter of the dark-haired chick, Roxy, from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Yes, I used to watch it.

In my job I get to see all sorts of weird names. I knew a kid once named Jose Cuervo. One can only guess how he was conceived!

Poor kid. That is just so wrong. What is wrong with these parents? I can understand wanting to give a unique name or something special from your ethnic heritage, but some of these names are really too much.

Topanga is a weird name, but I loved her character.
I used to LOVE Full House back in the day. Not so much now. It does make me feel old though.....
