True, it's a tradition. But (this is a genuine, sincere question), how would your life be affected if a gay couple got married and bought a home elsewhere in CA or even in your neighborhood? If you don't wish to interact, you have the freedom to exercise that option.
I ask because I genuinely don't understand how the additional definition of marriage (gay couples) affects your life (I mean, really, honestly, truly affects your life,...not just how much it bugs you on a personal level).

Pierini, I guess I asked again because it came up again, and I sincerely still,....just don't get it. Silly me, I guess.

Unless I want to eat mostly frozen and out a can food, I fix something else for myself when Scot "cooks." He does have a few things he can fix that are actual food and that I will eat
Often, I am just making dinner for myself because he won't eat what I cook. Too picky.

so then.. beat his a!! it would be a cold day n hell if elyse cooked for me, and I refused to eat it... and Love it! But I will eat anything, plus I do most of our cooking, because I have a better understanding than her of what needs to go into our bodies...
When I let her cook, shell deep fry some breaded shrimp, sautee some shrimp also, make a cheesy hashbrown casserole, some mashed potatoes, baked beans, biscuits, corn<--- the a-hole of all vegetables, 2 different types of gravy... Now dont that sound like a very unhealthy meal... suprinsignly she is skinny as she is... for now. she learned it from her mama, who aint skinny!

He's a picky eater. We got tired of arguing over what's for dinner. This way, we each get what we want.

I can relate to this. I prefer my food hot - hot enough to make my hemorrhoids tap dance. My wife, on the other hands, likes her food milder. I don the kitchen apron and do a Rachel Ray whenever I really want to eat my hot food.
Interesting is that my wife likes her food heat hot while I like my food warm.
I have found if you are super hungry then it is more likely to "taste" good even if you prefer it differently.

I believe men and women are equal in the quest of true living, one cant suvive without the other.
But what did the man say to the lady crossing the road, ? I dont care what he said, but what was she doing out of the kitchen lol.
And what do you say to a lady with a broken lip ? nothing you told her once lol.
Ok ladies ill get shot for that, but i love ladies as they really are my world

Whenever i am at a restaurant, and a female stands up, I stand too as a sign of courtesy. It's just the way I was raised i guess

My husband takes his hat off whenever we sit down at the dinner table and after 6 years of marriage.....he still refuses to let me open a door when he's around, he opens it for me. I dunno if that's tradition or just being a gentleman.

No, it's just how one is supposed to do. Going on 9 months together and yeah, I'm opening Kimberly's door for her, pulling out her chair, you know...treating her like a lady should be treated...when she lets me.
At least my truck does have the door lock remote so I can lock her out till I get to the door to open it.
Lesson for the day: How to say "I love you" when speaking redneck..."Nice ass, get in the truck". Of course you should be holding the door for her when you say it.

HAHAHA! That's funny. I'll have to tell that one to my husband, he'll like it.
