Economic Stimulis Check!
So what the hell do we do with it... Stimulate our local economy...
well say I live in toledo ohio right, and an hour away is Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky... do you guys think buying 2 season passes is a good way to stimulate the economy... $250.00 for two season passes and parking pass. I know also to go to local restaurants, local retailers, but none of that sounds appealing to me.
What are your guys's and gals's plans? if ya like to share that is.

Be boring and use it to pay down any debt or in your case save for your first home down payment. Let others stimulate the economy.

yea but if everyone thought like that... which according to the media (which has a habit of making everything look bad) nobody is gonna stimulate..
yea I really dont wanna spend it. Id rather hold on to it, for exactly what you said, or pay ahead a few months on some bills or something.

This economy needs real stimulus, not the artificial one the government is trying to create by borrowing to give out tax rebates. It is all election year gimmickery.

Part of mine went to a new computer monitor (mine died!) and the rest will go into the mutual fund. I know they say you need to spend it to stimulate the economy, but it seems to me this economy runs on investments as well.

So will lottery tickets stimulate the economy? If not, I could spend it on shades. Oakley Radar shades. Help me decide Range or Path? I do like the bigger lenses, maybe Range then.

Preliminary government statistic reveal that people from Andy's part of the world are spending their economic stimulus checks in one of three ways:
(1) buy a new gun rack for the pickup truck,
(2) buy as many lottery tickets as possible
(3) buy the missus a new pair of Daisy Duke shorts
