I could be wrong ... but it sounds like pure bullsh¡t.

You can use it for everything. The body will tend to heal itself if its energies are allowed to flow. The biggest thing that blocks that flow of energy is how emotional issues and past trauma are held in the body. So, we're getting to the core. That's why you can use EFT for everything. You can use it for
  • Addiction issues
  • Shame issues
  • Vision issues
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Fear of flying
  • Cravings
  • Diabetes
  • Post traumatic stress disorder
  • cravings
  • weight loss
  • fear of public speaking
  • insomnia
  • "You can go from zero desire to hot and ready"
  • Improved vision
  • I do believe that anything is possible now, because I have seen it.
"If it sounds too good to be true ..."

Damn ... I forgot how that saying ends ...

here is a quote from there website

A new innovation usually meets with skepticism
because it violates people's beliefs. And EFT flies in
the face of just about every belief there is about
psychology and emotional healing. Rapid remedies for
"difficult" emotional problems are, in some circles,
considered impossible and anyone who purports to do
them rapidly is labeled a charlatan. "After all", the
belief goes, "these things are deeply ingrained in people
and therefore they must take a long time to remedy."
Beliefs are very powerful. We fight wars over them.
We build monuments to them. Medicine, psychology
and political systems are built on them. But, alas,
sometimes they aren't true. We just think they are.
Sometimes we believe in fairy tales.
If your reaction to the promises made in the
preceding pages includes an "it's too good to be true"
attitude...or anything like that...then I have probably
already violated your beliefs. This is healthy and to be
expected. New ideas should be subject to rigorous
scrutiny. It lends them strength in the long run.
You hold in your hand a major innovation. As you
will see, it is based on the soundest of scientific
principles. But because it is so dramatically different
from "conventional wisdom," it is consistently, and
understandably, greeted with skepticism.

It sounds like you have experience and something to say about it.

Rather than set us up with questions, we who have no experience in it, how about telling us your experience.

I've heard of it. Do I think it works? That depends on what you consider "working" I guess. Do I think it has relieved people from the ailments listed on the site? yes. Do I necessarily think it was the technique that did this? Not necessarily.

All techniques will probably work for some. Suggestion is powerful. I you are told something is going to help when nothing else has, you WANT to believe that with every fiber of your being. That can be powerful by itself.

Would I try it? If I was desperate enough I'd try anything. I mean, I've tried EMDR (which was crap, just like I thought it would be). I've never tried EFT though people have offered to do it for me.

P.S.This quote by Eric Robins, MD captures the essence of EFT:
"Some day the medical profession will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional issues are the main cause of 85% of all illnesses. When they do, EFT will be one of their primary healing tools .... as it is for me."
- Eric Robins, MD -

Oh wow this man is a genius. I can't believe he thought of this all by himself. Oh wait, he didn't. This idea has been around for a long time. I know that it was mentioned by Freud.

It's just another form of acupuncture. If you release unwanted tension it will releave a lot of problems. Stress causes differant problems just like what they have listed. Stress lowers your immune system, just like when you start working out after a long lay off. The differance is that your body rebounds after working out for a while. While stress itself keeps it low. (But working out can relieve stress )
