Happy 50th Birthday Linda CF-OC_gal

I know her by Brat but now she is known here as Linda or CF-OC_gal. She is keeping a low profile and trying to fall under the radar screen on this one, but I won't let it happen.

I wish you a very happy birthday and I hope you have a great year in 2008.

Sorry to hear about your hip problem. I have been hearing from people our age about having hip problems that never had them previously. (I say our age because I want to be included as being in your young age group.) My cousin that is a year younger than me has recently been having hip problems. He was told that it was due to his legs being different length. Just another thing to consider.

Since I have been here at DF, it has been fun reading about your monthly goals and your CF adventure. I hope you recover quickly and I hope you can take your foot off the pedal until you are better.

Thank you for your kind thoughts, my friends! I can hardly bring myself to utter the word "fifty" because it seems like it went by way too fast.

My hip thing is just another reminder that "more is not better. " I think an x-ray is in my future. Ah ... if cursor can have shoulder surgery and still be da bomb, I can go for some hip therapy and join the walking wounded with my success stories.

Just think, you guys will benefit from my ramblings too.

BTW, I now know what makes joints click and tick! The PT told me what makes that sound (whether you re young or old).
