Caught some kind of bug yesterday morning and now I feel like hell, not to mention I think I have strep throat cuz its been going around work. Looks like I'll be taking a week off from the gym.

Younger people get sick more often than us older folks, that's the way it is. Rest and recover and you'll be back in the fitness saddle soon.

Sounds like a week or even two off is in order. Don't train sick, it's not worth it.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. And see a doc if you think it's strep. If it really is strep, you'll probably need penicillin or one of it's cousins.

Well so far my throat is real scratchy but its not very sore like strep is supposed to be so I'm hoping it isnt that. However I do have the fever and runny nose and conjestion that makes life sucky but oh well. I could use a week off from lifting anyway, its been awhile.
