I have a haunting problem

I know this is gonna sound dumb! but I have a song stuck in my head, I cant figure out what it is. Its a country song. I dont know what genre exactly to describe it as. so that dont help my search. I would say its a 90's song. I remember hearing off a movie or few, maybe even a commercial, And im certain its a pretty popluar country song anyways, other than its kinda old, so its obvious it would get no airtime... I though it was a john denver song, I couldve swore it was, but I looked through 17 pages of youtube, and havent found it, so I dont know how to continue my search. I know the beat, and thats it. hich i cant hmmm the beat for you guys anyways. but its a faster pace (not too fast) and it sounds like a banjo, or maybesomeone is plucking at the guitar, and the beat is very steady throught. it never changes. I know theres no suggestions you can make to me.

Just wondering has this ever happened to anyone else?
If so, what did you do about it?
If nothing did it drive absolutely insane?

its bad, im breaking into nervous sweats, and losing sleep because of it...

can anyone think of another singer who sounds similar to J.denver, and plays the same style music as he does. its like a fast pop-country sound, like J.Denver.

ive recently found out that country is broke don into 27 types of music...... 2 basic categories being folk/country and pop/country but it goes farther in depth... in order to find my song I might have to determine what I can classify it as..... lets say john denver is primarily a folk singer, that doesnt mean he never made honky tonk songs, or pop/country, or swinger country or etc.

If anyone can tell me what I could classify the song Mountain - by Lonestar as, that would help a great deal.... this is not the song im looking for, but, this is the style of song, its happy, uplifting, same pace.

Its called Bringing me down... at least I believe, and not to be confused with Beating me down <----which is correctively known as Falling away from me, Beating me down is just an alternate title.

anyways the lyrics to bringing me down go like this....

That being the chorus. Now before you go and google it, let it be known many people have spent years looking for this song... when you search it in google, you will find the song with those lyrics, and the same title... but it will not say what album it is from, and even worse, it is no where to be found in the downloading world of music..... I know someone who downloaded Korns complete Discography cashing in at 21 albums..... they have searched every song and still no winner..... the only to describe this beat is by listening to Somebody Someone By Korn..... That Beat is so very similar. during the verses its very calm, and very synthesized, and then chorus drops hard as hell with Bass guitars and killer duoble bass beating from the drums...

my only guess to this song, is that it might also have an alternate name and we do not know it, or maybe some other band performs the song and just jonathon davis from korn sings it.... but that would be impossible unless theres another band out there who sounds exactly like korn... caz the is your stereotypical korn beat and song.

Ah the old tip of the toungue mind teaser. I hate when that happens. You know it what it is but you just can't remember it and it will bug you day and night. I wish I could help you but my country music knowledge is limited to Kenny Rogers and Billy Ray Cyrus lol.

thats ok... its pretty popular song... it might be a few years before I jus randomly hear it again, but ill be sure to listen to those lyrics and Ill google the son-a-bytch!

Those are called ear-worms and I think they happen to everyone. Unfortunately I think the only thing you can do is play other music over and over to try and re-pattern the worm (bad name for having a song stuck in your head),...or wait it out.

When you least expect it (you have to let it go first),....the song you're trying to remember will pop back (the name of it),....then of course you may be stuck hearing it in your head again for a while.

Oooh, there's always a trade off, hmm?

I found the song! Its not actually by korn! I have it downloaded, but funny thing is no one knows who sings this song... But regaurdless I have it. Any hardcore fans out there wanna hear it, lemme know. Mybe you can help me figure out who it is.
