I hit a new low bodyweight this weekend...

I was 230.0 on Saturday morning, and even saw 229.8 fluctuate a few times. I was stoked. The last time i was 230 or less had to be middle school. Unbelievable.

Anyways, thought I'd share. I did end up cutting my carbs again last week, was stuck at 234 for a good 6 weeks...

My carb intake is now 150g a day. I seem to drop 5-8lbs, then stabilize, and everytime i do that, i have to drop another 20-30g of carbs and it seems to start going down. I wish I'd loearn quicker though than waiting a month before making this change .

I was thinking to stop at 225, as I'd be around 17% bf (yes I lost some muscle mass or never had it, what I think it was is at 342 you carry alot of extra water in your fat cells as well and so when you lose the fat you lose the water, so right now my scale is saying 233 @ 21% bf at night when i'm sorta hydrated...

But whatever. It is what it is. I may go down to 225 as a morning weight then turn around and start bulking, or take it down to a fully carbed 225 (which means 215 in the morning at the end of a good week's dieting)...

Congrats on the new low bodyweight sunshine.

Just shave all your body hair and you'll be down to 225 easy!

how many calories are you eating now? when you cut carbs do you replace them with fat/protein or just take the calorie cut too?

Kick ass white boy! I've been silently cheering for you through this whole process and you are doing awesome. I think I am most impressed that you defined your weight loss goal above your muscle and strength goals and had the mental fortitude to stick with it. As a guy who is constantly trying to do it all (muscle, strength, leanness, athleticism, endurance, etc...), it's great to see what can happen when someone focuses and really makes a monster change in one of those aspects.

This time i didn't cut the calories, i increased protein intake and dropped carbs. But on the previous drops, yes...i'm eating about 2000 calories a day still.

Carbs are the enemy during weight loss in my findings .

Yeah ill be out in the track if i can shaek the anxiety and my heart isn't acting up too much. I need to get my heart conditioning back up.
