I love it when it's deep!
(looks around for a wedge and pries pierini's head out of the gutter,.......again).
We, here in New England, and definitely right-chere at home, we're getting snowed in massively. I used to live in the Berkshires, and hell, we'd get some gorgeous, deep, powder snow, to be sure.
It's not nearly as common here in the city, but I just went out and measured and we've got over 6 inches already and various reports say between 2-4" of snowfall is being predicted per hour up until midnight! Yipee-kayee!
'Tis good to drive a Jeep, baby!
It's gorgeous because although it's dangerous (the plows aren't out, and every nut job and their mother in law is out trying to stock up on groceries out of a fear of being snowed in for a week and despite living in New England, everyone's brain goes into lockdown mode when they get behind the wheel of a car and they forget everything they've been taught about drivers' education and physics).....besides all that, it's untouched yet by man, no mud, no dirt, no slush, it's just the most beautiful December sight out there! It's like looking at those glittery Christmas cards, but it's my back yard! (I'm one of the FEW people who live in Boston and has a driveway,....plus a driveway that fits 6 cars,....plus a back yard,.....plus a back yard that actually has several trees including a big beautiful old oak). That's a big deal here in Bah-ston!
I'm so easily entertained, especially when it comes to snow!

Dude, my whole friggin' afternoon was cancelled because of this snow! So my ADHD kicks in and besides,....I'm exercising my versatility.
See? This is what happens when trainers (who are, generally speaking, wound rather tightly and high strung) find themselves with time off of work.
Besides, I'm in a really good mood because I'm a total snow freak! I love this stuff!

I've been busy working this afternoon so I haven't had time to read much of the slime here.
Me, I prefer it wet and slippery . . . .
. . . as in walking in the rain because it doesn't snow where I live.
And that is not a gutter-sharing post.

I would so love to take this thread in a very wrong direction.
You still got phone and internet service up there?

Certainly does. I can think of three good err bad ways to take that you know. Hope you aren't snowed in today. I know down here when we get a big snow, no one knows how to drive in it and it makes things really suckish for those of us who have to be out in it. And every idiot has a 4x4 and because of that they think they are invincible and drive normal highway speeds...not considering the fact that the DOT doesn't actually have good snowplows...just salt/gravel trucks with blades on the front that make things worse than they were to start with.
