Normally I'm a jack on the rocks guy (don't be calling irish whisky better than tennessee whiskey!), but for you Maxgain, I'll happily slug down a couple bay breezes or fuzzy navels.

Welcome Maverick

Baybreeze
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
3 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Cranberry Juice

Fuzzy navel
1 part peach schnapps
1 part orange juice
1 part lemonade

Grab yourself a chair you will fit right in.

While we sip our drinks through straws we can discuss the foolishness of the statement that tennessee whiskey is better than Irish.

The fact is you have only 2 offerings JD and George Dickel.
JD has just become common now doesnt demand respect anymore

You've completely ignored me. Am I in or am I out or am I just too boring (aka highbrow) for your place!

Brat my apologies
Of course you are in. Highbrow is exactly what we are looking for.
We shall sip our drinks nibble on small plates and discuss why as an opera Lloyd Webbers 'The Woman in White' fails to deliver emotional or intellectual satisfaction.

Stang you disappoint me. Your fear of been seen shows an insecurity woth yourself. Allow us DF members to identify incidents in your younger life that have made you question your identity and a need for masked portrayal in public.

LOL at this thread!

I'm more of a beer drinker in the summer time, scotch man in the winter. Scotch on the rocks, whiskey & water or just gimme a shot of something that burns on the way down!

How about gin and tonic? Does that earn me a seat at the table? That's about as sophisticated as I get! Actually, I could do one of those French Flamingos, just hold the orange liqueur and fruit juices... and don't chill it either. LOL!

I'm impressed by Maverick's Jack on the rocks, Welch's moonshine and gymgirls rejection of fruity drinks. Maxgain, you should be ashamed of yourself, no self respecting Irishman would taint his whiskey with triple sec or any kind of liqueur! LOL!

Hey Dan, that's not moonshine. Same method, cooked in the same still, but we call it applejack. Way better than corn liquor. It's like brandy, but only takes one shot to see you don't get back up. And goes down so smooooth.

You mean, taking refuge on the internet with American women. Lol

You know all that fruity stuff has more calories than if you drink it strait no chaser? Also, the fruity stuff has a tendency to promote hangovers. Drink beer and you should still be able to train the next day.

What's the matter? Don't you like Guiness? I hear Guiness is much different in it's homeland than what we get here in the States.

I am a boring middle-age man whose idea of a good drink is a bottle of San Pellegrino water.

I would have had alot to offer this thread 30 years ago.
