I want to drink appletinis
Mainly it is the glass and the color that intrigues me.
It is a simple drink that will ooze an essence of sophistication and suaveness over a typical sour tasting belch inducing pint of beer.
It will show a confidence of not been restricted to the stereotypical drink types associated with men not afraid of labelling a security that will have the women swooning.
So DF bretheren who will join me at the bar I am good for one for all of ye.
Post here your views and I will buy you a suitable drink.

Anything is better than beer. Beer is just bloating. I have to confess that I still do drink a beer or two every now and then...
I'd rather have a glass of wine or a cocktail, maybe something with Absolut Kurant?

Welcome to the bar Tott.
We can look down on all those swilling pints while we sip from our elegant glasses.
May I suggest a French Flamingo
While the beer drinkers will be feeling worse for ware tomorrow you wil be eager to hit the gym after this burst of vitamins and antioxidanst to allow ready alcohol metabolism.
1 oz Absolut Kurant vodka
1 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz fresh pomegranate juice

Never heard of an appletini before but applejack is pretty good. AKA brandy, but not made the regular way. Make moonshine with apples instead of corn...it's applejack. Mmmmmmmm. Sit down to drink it though and don't plan on getting up.

Well there will be no beer drinking with me espcially by the ladies.
Containing wine and no fruit. Let me buy you a dry Martini
1 2/3 oz gin
1/3 oz dry vermouth
1 olive
We lose out the vitamin punch but add to the heart cleansing effects with the olive fats.

there will be no moonshining when drinking with me. This is a civilised get together.
If you are going to drink whiskey you will insult me unless you get the good stuff, the irish whiskey.
So let me buy you as Irish Whiskey Cocktail
2 oz Irish whiskey
1/2 tsp triple sec
1/2 tsp anisette
1/4 tsp maraschino liqueur
1 dash bitters
A few of these and you still wont be getting up.

Make it a simple classic.
Pour in a chilled glass:
1 1/2 pt Absolut vodka
1/2 pt Nolly Pratt (vermouth)
stir with ice, don't shake
add 1 large stuffed olive.

Sorry Nate but that sort of drinking wont be getting me to open my wallet for you.
May I suggest a slender glass of
Isar water:
A wheat beer mixed with Blue Curaçao and apple or orange juice. :

Stang, dear Stang.
I once carried this belief until I broke from the shackles of societies stereotypical restrictions.
A new world has been opened up . You should try it and embrace it.
