I think with 6 children to feed he'd better do a lot of winning. Kids eat a lot and are expensive.
OK, so I know you addressed this to the resident tough guys and not to me...but I'm butting in anyway.

Getting way more publicity and notice than guys who are much more talented on the MMA scene. There's rumors of him fighting Tank Abbot in the near future, I think it would be an EliteXC show.

Tank is still around? I always liked that guy.

If there was one man in the world I had to pick that could do the most damage with a bare knuckle punch (in his prime), it would likely be Tyson. That said, I don't think I could choose as neither man has had a legit MMA bout. And as Dan mentioned, it also depends if this fantasy matchup is a street fight or an MMA bout.
As it turns out, Tank (and a few others) have declined to fight Kimbo, and his current opponent slated for his official MMA debut (unless you count the Mercer or Gannon)fight is Bo Cantrell (10-10-0) who is coming off 4 straight losses.

While I am not a huge fan of MMA I saw some clips on youtube of this guy in what appeared to be backyard fights. He is a beast and he can fight. I wonder how well he'll do if he makes it to the likes of the UFC?

Honestly, I think Kimbo would eat Tyson up... even in a boxing match. It'd be great to see regardless.
No surprise about Tank declining. Did anyone see that fight where he took a dive? It was on Ultimate Knockouts (2?) and he was getting worked by some Brazilian dude. Tank was winded and wanted to be done - he actually started to fall before the punch connected.

No but don't forget Tank also did a little time in the old WCW, but for my money he could never sell well... and had bad timing.. LOL

I think that was his fight versus Pedro Rizzo. I'd have to watch it again (its been a long time), but I don't think it was a dive, at least not intentionally. He was completely gassed, as was typical of him past the first 90 seconds, and he was getting chopped down the whole fight by leg kicks. In his prime, Rizzo's kicks were bombs, like a K-1 fighter. Tank could barely stand in the first place by the time he got hit square on the chin. Like I said though, I'd have to watch it again.
And I highly doubt Kimbo would last even moments against Tyson in a boxing match, but that opinion is about as relevant as asking "Who would win, Rocky or Rambo?" Ain't ever gonna happen.

Mike Tyson in his prime would have destroyed Kimbo, bare-knuckles or gloves, despite a substantial reach advantage for Kimbo.
I actually saw a youtube video interview of Kimbo and he speaks well. He sure is fearless and knows how to keep his chin tucked. I hope he is making some money.

Its easy to be fearless when you are fighting guys with little to no fight training. His opponents to this point were tough guy thugs, over the hill boxers, and an overweight and underconditioned Sean Gannon (who has had little success himself in MMA), the only actual MMA fighter to face him, and Kimbo lost.
He's got a chin, the spirit, power, and can bob and weave. At 33 though he's fighting an uphill battle trying to turn fist fighting in the streets into competitive MMA. He's gonna have to do more than throw haymakers to move up. I'm interested to see him fight some actual MMA fighters and will be curious to see how this turns out for him.
He reminds us most of a guy like Tank Abbott. A brawler, pure and simple, and fun to watch. Bear in mind though, as popular as he became, Tank's MMA record stands at 9-13.
