I'm just curious if anybody on here was within range to feel this morning's earthquake. I felt it, but thought it was a tornado. When you feel your house shake in Illinois (and it's 4:30 in the morning, and you're not really awake) you think tornado, not earthquake. Imagine...an earthquake in Illinois.
It freaked me out! (OK, California people, stop laughing!) Then I thought I had just dreamed the tornado, because when I got up to look around, there was no damage outside. So I thought I had a crazy dream. The cats definitely felt it too. They were standing straight up. I think my bettas may have also felt it. Moonbeam tucked himself between the filter and the heater cord.
An earthquake in Illinois!

No I didnt feel it, but I wake up at 55, and in the shower by 530, im est. time, so I was in the shower when it happened, but I couldnt feel it, but at the news station (13abc) they could feel it they reported.
It was a 5.3 in evansville... which is about 6 hours from here.
there has been 2 in the past 3-4 months around cleveland also!
they were both 3. somethings, nothing major.
Apparently people around me felt it but I didn't. Around that time I was rushing out of the house to get to work. Probably happened when I was pulling out of the driveway.
