My Top 10 Reasons Why to Drop 100+lbs (after the fact)

The best 10 reasons to drop 100+lbs:

10. I can do a legal pushup.
09. I no longer need to lie about why I don’t want to go outside in the winter. It’s actually COLD now.
08. The crotch of my pants no longer hangs to my knees when I don’t want it to.
07. You get noticed more.
06. I can run a mile without walking any part of it.
05. I can buy clothing from most any store now.
04. When I sit in chairs, my sides don’t rub against the arms.
03. I can ride any roller coaster at Cedar Point.
02. When I lay in my bed, I no longer sink to the box spring.
01. My manhood looks bigger.

I thought you would all enjoy this. Feel free to post your own, but posts should come from people that lost a ton of weight, maybe 80+lbs, not 30 or 40 (although the difference is significant, i woudlnt' consider that a DRASTIC change).

Very good reasons firehawk. I wish I could share your dedication to running though. I hate it so much. Back on it now though...slowly improving.

You've made some amazing progress and I know you will keep it up.

It is really tough running now that winter is here. I have much less motivation to go out in 30F temps or less to jog.

I think he meant it to be funny.

It must hit a little too close to home for Welch

Not a problem. But at 300lbs...yeah, a problem. It's pretty bad when U can't see the damn thing...or your feet.

Well, I could see it when i bent over at 300+lbs, but then when I reached around 270 i could see it without bending over, and now I definitely think it either grew inches from usage or from no longer being half encased with fat.

Another benefit to dropping 100lbs is I can now bend straight over to tie my shoes. No gut in the way. Before, I used to have to bend to the side or something. Welch prolly knows what i mean.

I'm guessing it must also be a little easier to wipe the behind.

Yep, know exactly what you mean.

And Mr. P...yes, my arms are longer now. I'm sure firehawk's arms are longer too.

This thread has taken a horrible turn, the images brought on by reading it will surely give me nightmares for several months.

Damn you all!

F-Mac. Use it for motivation not to go overboard on bulking. I know how some of you powerlifters are. Gotta get bigger and stronger, who cares how it looks? Well...consider when you are at a meet and you can't get your arms behind you to adjust the squat briefs. Consider the guy who will be helping you into them or your squat suit.

See, it's all about motivation. Take it, use it. And remember, Firehawk is truly inspirational. I mean think about it. He actually had the stones to start this thread...knowing where it may go.

Supposedly there is at least one bodybuilder who has to call his wife after going to the toilet to perform clean up duties as he cant reach behind.
She will even travel to him when out.

Andy I think he knew exactly where it would go..........which is what makes it even more disturbing.

And Max, way to take it to the next level...............just when I thought it couldn't get any worse............that is sheer grossness
