New site look...
I hate it. Too much going on with the side bar, header tabs, post links under each post, etc. Bleh.

I agree. They should take a lesson from your signature quote.

I only go to forums. I like it; seems more compact, quicker to read.

Can we get the old style back? I don't like how cluttered it feels .
I do appreciate all the hard work that went into it though, I know it was for a good intention.

I dont mind the forums the way they are, but I dont like the sidebar of stuff, it seems to make my eyes go crazy. I also appreciate all of the hard work that has been going on here, change is inevitable and needed.

Anything new takes time to get used to but I do agree it seems cluttered. I will not say I don't like it, but I can say I am not crazy about it. However I am sure a lot of people worked hard on this so I am not going to put down their efforts. Prehaps a beta version could have been tested with the user base before unleashing it on to everyone? A simple redirect in DNS or even a link to the beta site would have directed people there or a sub-domain. beta.discussfitness.com, just a thought.

Feeback is greatly appreciated. We've taken note of all comments and while we cant work to please everyone, we will take your feedback into consideration.
Please bear in mind that the what we've done is far more than changed the layout... We've integrated vBulletin with a leading Content Management System and a development environment that will allow us to roll-out new functionality and make the community better.
Next item on our road maps is the Photo Gallery which we plan on rolling out in the next 2 weeks. The Gallery module has a rating system allowing members to rate pictures. As soon as the Gallery becomes large enough, we will have the top 10 pictures from the Gallery rotate on the Home Page (instead of the ones we have now).
We also have a new Content Management System right now and I encourage you all to write an article and submit it... it's easy! You don't need to be a professional writer... you all know stuff that would be valuable to share with the rest of the community and make this a better place.
We will also want to add a Products Review Section in the next month or two. Also, we would like to make available relevant databases that you can easily search... an example of these would be " nutritional information of common foods" if you have ideas on what would be good databases to have available online in our community - let us know!

Hello everyone, from me, user #1 :P
Site changes look interesting, my main feedback would be to increase the cell spacing in the forums, just slightly, to make it look smarter and easier to read.

I like the new look myself. the one thing I don't like though is the advertisements in the middle of a thread. That's very annoying.

I can't stand how everything is bunched so close together either. I don't need glasses but this sure makes me squint!
