anyone have this? how was your surgery? were the other treatment options available?

My fiancee and her sister have both had it.
They were treated with antibiotics and both cleared right up. No surgery needed.

Fairly soon (within a few weeks) after the symptoms appeared.
There was that window of "lets just hope this goes away after a bit" then when it didn't they both went in to the doc.
They are quite painful from what I've been told.

er... weird thing about mine, i did the "lets hope it goes away" for about 4 months now, i have yet to feel pain, its just itchy. i think the surgery is whats painful, they leave you with an open wound.
