pink eye

I believe I may have it and can't get to the Dr. until 3:00



does anyone know anything about this? the internet says it's contagious for up to 2 weeks!!! I had to call into work and I can't even drive because I lost my glasses!!

what am I to do?!?!?! If I went to the eye doc to get glasses do you think they would all skatter?

If I get eye drops how long does it take for me to be NOT contagious

I think 24 hours. You won't spread it as long as you are very careful not to touch your eyes, and wash your hands if you do (before you touch anything else). It is very contagious, though, and sometimes it's hard to remember to keep those hands away from those eyes, so sometimes doctors will tell you to call in sick if you work with the public.

I had it several times as a kid and remember it really sucking. Colloidal silver drops in the eyes is good.

I'm a big colloidal silver advocate.

Yeah I always meant to get some to add a few drops to my drinking water. How do you find it?

Many healthfood stores have it. I have a friend with a machine who makes his own. I pay about $15 a quart.

yup..it's pink eye and it SUCKS..i had to go buy some glasses!!

An otc eye ointmenat will take care of that (Brolene here is applicable)

I got some kinda prescription from my PCP..last from 5-7 days but I think I will go for using it until the 7th day just to be sure!!
