Thanks I just got home from the Hospital. The surgery went well, was scary but not as bad as the last one. I complained enough that they made sure to knock me out for the 2nd half of the surgery (the painful part) but was still awake the first half, which had its own uncomfortable moments. BUt nevertheless, it is done and I hope it's over forever.

The surgeon told me today that some of the areas he fixed last time grew back and were causing my problems, and a couple new areas as well were taken care of. Right now my heart beat is great and I'm just going to take it easy for the next week or so then start lifting really light and progressively get heavier.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I was only slightly nervous for this procedure this time. Clearly I believe God was with me through this. I never stressed out until i was actually on the operating table slab, but my mind was taken off that by all the state of the art equipment/flat screen panels, etc they had above me, etc. Looked like something out of a sci-fi movie.

If I had a brain tumor removed he'd find some way to tease me about it. I expect it from him though, after all he's a Canuck!

I just about spit drink all over my monitor. Such a serious thread and then that gets thrown in there. It definitely wouldnt be the same around here without you bro. You're one of the younger "old timers" here. Actually now that I think about it, we have a lot of people here that have been regulars for 4-5 years already. Some come and go, but we all just come back to the family.
