Sunglasses

Would you keep a pair of sunglasses that just fell into the toilet? If so what would you use to sterilize the hell out of it.

If they are 6.00 gas station pugs - not a chance. If they are my 100.00 Tipoi glasses you damn right I'm keeping them. If it's my toilet, I know it's clean so some soap and water is gonna be fine. Someone else's I'm scrubbing them down with a good alcohol based cleaner. Might even find out if phenol would ruin the lenses or not. Maybe this is the reason that good sunglasses come with 2-3 extra sets of lenses?

Oh yeah, a really kewl neck strap to hang them from will cost you about 2.50. The "old lady chain" is about 1.00.

their 30$ but i like them. so i bleached it twice and emptied half a can of lysol on it, then rinsed it, hope thats enough.

bleach or alcohol would have been fine. Did the bleach not strip the tint off the lenses?

uh, it was vim thick bleach, and no i dont think it did.
