The fabulous 1960s


This video clip is before most member's time, but for a couple of us it is great.

Bob44, cursor, IronMan, Brat, Lady C? and me should be able to relate. The rest of you, send it to your parents or grandparents.

That was some good music pierini.

I remember Kennedy being shot - not so much that as I really remember the whole neighborhood being upset.

I remember running home from school to watch the rockets launch into space. And the body counts from Vietnam on the nightly news. Red Skelton, Lost in Space, Gilligan's Island and Gomer Pyle.

Route 17 runs through my town and there were hippies all over the place hitching rides to Woodstock.

I could go on and on........

Yeah, that was (and still is!) the age old question.......Bombshell beauty or wholesome beauty. I'm kinda glad you left "Lovey" out the the comparison. lol
