Wasted time

I've been watching these little guys (robins) grow on the window sill. My Dad tried to discourgage the Mom twice by tearing down her nest but she insisted on building it there so he gave up and let her. I wish I got her picture too

May 27 - And then there were 3!



Later that day the mother came by and kicked them all out of the nest.
Here are the last 3 at various places around the house. One little guy came to our patio door too see what was going on inside!




We've seen them flying around and calling mommy bird to feed them, which she does.

Amazing to think that the eggs were laid exactly one month before they flew the nest!
