Whatever happened to . . . ?

This might be a featured column in future issues of our online newsletter, but for the time being let's start some discussion here in the Off Topic Forum.

What ever happened to (name of DF member who hasn't been active in a while)?

Name the member, what you remember about him/her, what you learned from him/her, etc., etc. Should be fun.

I need some time to think before I post so why doesn't someone get the ball rolling.

p.s. Our online newsletter is right around the corner. The Spring 2007 premier issue will be out soon. Keep your eyes open!

Well Surfing Amy is the one I'll start off with. Actually, she dropped by one early Sunday morning when I was on and I sent her a PM to which she replied.

She trained hard, probably too much volume with not enough rest and she was really a squatter if I remember correctly. She was really active when I first joined and after I posted my first workout which was a high-volume bodyweight circuit, she was one of the first to post a postive comment about my workout.

Seems like she found a guy and put all her energy in that department. That's what ladies do. They immerse themselves in their guys.

I think she'll pop back here every now and then.

Fudomyo - Miss this guy, great at contributing on routines and diet (inc. his great trick of using medication given to diabetics to block his leptin receptors)
Steve - He made me laugh with his input on junk.. and everything else
LeeJB - Young and really willing to learn, he did well!

and... I was about to say IRONMAN, when I was previously training he helped out in a lot of ways then he just dissapeared, vanished, not to be seen again... then he appeared?? I was promised he is the size of a barn but have never seen a photo *hints*

I make no promises one way or the other regarding photos, Sophos. I truly value my privacy -- and hate having my picture taken!

Dropping out was a simple matter of priorities bro. I needed to spend time with my wife. We were finding our way out of some problems and this board took a back seat because she is that important to me. Thankfully, now we are good.

As for the barn thing - well, I'm not as big as one but I am moving my weights to my barn this summer. Need to do some overhead work and the basement just won't cut it anymore.

If I catch my goal this year - to clean and press 100 lb dumbbells, I'll try to post a video.

I was really glad to see you drop back in yourself. Lots of people drop out of fitness and stay out. Your getting back here says that you will be doing this (lifting) for the rest of your life. That's a good thing!

And Maxgain - you've gotta stop sneaking around my house! The judge told you that last time the cops arrested you! I hate calling them but you always leave me no choice in the matter......and my wife said if you were a little better looking she wouldn't mind your nightly peeks in the window.

Ha maybe thats what she tells you. Im not peeking in the window Im just after jumping out the window because you came home.

The fact is your wife likes the big guys and you can train all you want but you wont match me.
