A good multivitamin?

Is there a multivitamin geared toward gaining muscle or is it just a rip off. I was wondering about good multivitamins to start taking. I looked at animal pak vitamins but someone told me that they make steroids and it might not be safe. If anyone can tell me a good multivitamin to take every day I would appreciate it thx and also my friend is saying how this creatine he takes is the best and how I have to get it (nutrex vitargo cgl), it seems like alot of money 2 tubs for 75 bucks but is it worth it?

I personally use AST MultiPro 32x. You can get it for $15 a bottle (100 vitamins) if you shop at the right online stores. It's loaded with the good stuff.

i use ON opti-men multivitamins. 2 a day.

yes creatine before a workout has a positive effect. yes whey after a workout has a positive effect. but both are totally different products that have almost no direct effect on eachother if thats what youre wondering.

and stick with plain creatine monohydrate (look for the creapure logo on the jug). your friend is wasting his money buying that creatine, its probably loaded with sugars and other junk you dont want.

Thx for the tips. I was looking at some creatine and it said the first week I take it I should take it 4 times a day. It seemed a little high to me and I was wondering if thats good or not.

This is called the "loading phase". It's not necessary but will help you to reap the benefits sooner than if you were to just take the normal 5-10g a day to start with. Some say that the loading is a bunch of crap and I might agree but I did it anyhow when I started, just for the in case that it helped any.

I've been using Centrium (or store brand equivelents) for years. Are the more expensive Multi vitamins any better if so why?

Based on most of the things I've read, store brands do the job just fine.

Also whats up with all the expensive creatine? It's just better to get one for 25-30 bucks right? Iv'e seen just plain creatine and it seems like its alot cheaper.
