accutane and proteine together

Hi people, this is my first post, and i would like to ask a serious question if possible:

I've been taking Accutane for two months now, and it really helped my acnies, tho im on this med. for at least 4 months...
I'm going to gym every day doing cardio and lifting light weights, actually i'm training kung-fu too. I want to start taking proteine, since i can't take it all from daily food. I heard creatine is bad for your liver and is accutane so i can't mix those right now. But what about proteine? Is it safe to take together with accutane? Is it 1g. per 1 lb or something like that? When should i take it and with what (milk has vitamin A and that no no with accutane). But my biggest concearn is is it safe to take proteine /w accutane.
I would be very thankful if you could answer me these questions,
thank you

Hi satyr and welcome. I've taken Roaccutane, got good results from it athough I felt dead on my feet after 4 months, felt like my skin was going to fall off it was so dry, so hello to nosebleeds in month 4 too .. hehehe. Anyway, have you read the leaflet contained within the box, because I have it right here, and maybe you 'missed' it just like I 'accidently' 'missed' it but it states no strenuous physical activity whilst on the course of medication... I can tell you, however that it is perfectly safe to take protein whilst taking accutane, PERFECTLY safe, you need to take it directly after a workout whilst getting it throughout the day from food.

Generally you need 1g protein per LEAN lb of body mass, you don't want to feed the fat here. And also, I can tell you that I was taking protoplex which has a lot of vitamin A in it .. I mixed the stuff with milk, for the whole 4 months I was on roc, and I was having checkups every month and she didn't notice anything, well except the stretch marks .... all levels were ok....when it says do not consume excessive vitamin A, it means just that... don't consume large amounts of it, not 'don't consume any' . Remember doctors will always tell you the super safe way no matter how badly it might temporarily change your lifestyle just so they can cover themselves that you will be alright.

Finally ... where did you get that creatine is liver toxic ? It's not and you can take it whilst on roc, however you will want to watch your hydration levels extremely closely if your going to take it.

For the record I'm not a doctor, these are my opinions, which I consider and trust to be true.

Yeah, lol i "haven't c the part about physical activity", but seriously though, would you stop kung fu and phisical exercises for 6 months....but that's 'just' me.
Anyway, i am very sure that i read somewhere that taking accutane and creatine only adds more damage to already accutane damaged liver. But i agree that it depends from person to person, and doctor always say the worst case scenario.
So do you recomend a take some proteine/creatine mix, or just go with proteine? How is that to be taken? I train every night 9pm-00.00am. Late i know but that the only free time i have. Should i take it troughtout all day for max absorbtion? I have 170lb so how can i determine what is my daily intake of proteine from food?? Anyway thank you for your help, i really appreciate it.
peace

you will need to write down everything you eat and check the labels. Am I reading right that you workout for 3 hours ?? Cut that right down to 1 mate, I would do either the weights or Kung-fu ... I woudln't stop my training unless I was on my death bed, but even so i did watch it just incase, calm it down a little mate. Take the creatine thoughout the day as it says on the bottle, and take your whey protein immediatly after training.
