Announcing SesaThin, testers wanted

I had planned to ask for testers from DF when the new issue hit, but I am in charge of production and demand has been easily 10 times what we anticipated.

However, better late than never.

This is SesaThin:

http://www.mindandmuscle.net/page.php?pageID=234

In addition, someone from IronMagazine was discussing sesamin with their doctor, who just happened to be familiar with a human study done on cholesterol and triglycerides - which basically supports all the data gleaned from rats as being identical in humans.

Anyway, I am looking for 2 testers who are willing to give the product a decent review and post results here, at DiscussFitness. Endomorphs would be preferred, but your diet and training must be consistent and steady - no new factors should be introduced into the protocol.

If you are interested, please post a a brief description about yourself, and why you feel you would be a good tester.

I will supply 2 bottles of SesaThin to each tester.

(I need to get the full text of the study above, and will try to post it when I get a chance)

Tester

DSADE,
I am more the ecto than the endomorph, but do need to shed approx. 15 lbs of fat. I have been weight training for about 6 mos now and have made noticeable gains in muscle mass and strength. My diet could use some improvement, but is MUCH better than it was 6 mos ago. Also have been using various supps to get better gains. Those include: creatine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Tribulus, ZMA and Whey Protien. Also, take Flax Oil and a Multi.

I would like to be considered as a tester. Let me know if you need any other info.
Thanks
BRIGGZ

I was going to make this thread a sticky for a few days so the members can have a chance to look over the proposal put out by Avant Labs. Instead, I'll just keep bumping it. Asking for testers who will use the product and write a review is an action I respect. I'm really impressed by the fact that they are not looking for people to make great changes in anything they are doing while using the product. Not necessarily scientific but it will give our members a chance to see if this product will be able to live up to its ad copy.

The action on the body is similar to fibrates, which are used to lower cholesterol. The only side effects indicated are that it might slow down muscle gain at very high dosages.

It basically just speeds up Free Fatty Acid oxidation, as well as blocking lipogenic enzymes - so not only does it increase fat burning, but it also blocks fat formation and deposition.

I'm an endomorph. I'm female, though, not sure if you wanted only males for this.

I am also currently taking Leptigen Rebirth.

Other supplements include a multi-vitamin, and ECA.

I'm 22, about 180 lbs 22.4% bf 5' 9". Been training for a year and a half.

I guess, dsade, u are only looking for fat loss results?
I wood be interested, here are the possible testing scenarios:
1: I introduce it about 4 weeks after I start cutting, use it for approx 4 weeks.
2: I use it during normal diet/training(that will be in full swing about 4 months from now).

Any scenario is fine with me. I weigh ~178lbs, 5'10", ~22% bf, training for ~2.5 years

I'm very interested in this. I am a male 5'11" endomorph weighing 220lbs and 23% bf. I have lost 54lbs since last Easter but still have a good bit of "spare tire" type belly fat to lose. I weight train 3 times a week and do about 5 to 7 cardio sessions a week, of which a couple are short hitt sessions followed by lengthier moderate level, the rest are long moderate level sessions. I have been doing CKD diet for last 5-6 months (with break periods).

Dropping a few percent more body fat would be nice. I would definitely give feedback on this site. If it were successful enough, I would even post some pics. I'm a 40 something female, training for 3 years, 16-17% BF, religious diet and workout habits (typically 5-6 days per week). Never paid attention to body type. I have been at the same BF for about 12 months.

How long will the testing take? Unitl I finish both bottles?

I'm still going to send 2 bottles to each tester, but the original guideline was because it was thought that the effect would take some time to become apparent.

After looking at some of the initial feedback (I had discounted my own experience as placebo), the effects are quite dramatic and quickly seen. So, close monitoring would only need to be done for a few weeks (maybe 3).
