Anyone get upset stomach w/ Glutamine

Well I am getting into the cutting phase and just started supplementing with L-Glutamine this week and have noticed every few times I take it I get a stomach ache for about 20 minutes....and it always seems to come on the first dose of each day...I usually take it after cardio with breakfast where I'll eat two eggs and 4 egg whites....I wonder if I just need to get used to it or what the problem is???

ANyone else ever experience this???

Since I don't supplement with it, I can't offer any opinion. This post will serve to bump the thread though.

I do . .

You may be drinking it too fast. Try and drink it over a period of about a half hour rather than a chug. It's kind of a feeling of being too full but it usually subsides after about an hour like nothing happened

Yeah the first few times I took it I dumped the powder in my mouth and then rinsed it with a glass of water....didn't think this would effect it....I am usually in a rush when I am eating, so I'll try and take it over a longer stretch of time....

oral glutamine often causes stomach distress because it is heavily utilized by stomach flora. Use glutamine peptides or N-acetyl-glutamine.

No, I never get an upset stomach from glutamine, or any other supplement for that matter....oh wait, I lied...I got an upset stomach from using N-Large 2, and I know it was from the protein for sure, so I through it out and have been fine ever since. I think that sh!t is powdered cement ...lol!

yeah when i first started using it again that happened to me. I just the same method , throw the powder in my mouth and dump the water down, nothing wrong with that. Try it a few more times now i am use to it.
