What "fat loss cream" are you talking about? What are the active ingredients? What is the carrier/delivery method? Is it an effective delivery method? By what mechanism does it "purport" to work?

Those are the questions you should answer before you think about buying...well, pretty much ANY supplement.

Most "fat loss creams" are nothing but a diuretic, which will do NOTHING to help you burn fat. Topical Yohimbine can be effective, depending on the carrier and the type of fatty deposits you are trying to get rid of - but nothing will work if you don't have your diet and training pretty dialed in.

Don't know if this is true but here goes:
A dood told me that Prep H works the same as fat loss creams. Spread it around your love handles and then wrap them in cling wrap. Go for a run and then shower.

Again, you have to look at the purported mechanism of action.

Preparation H works as a diuretic, so is the same as any formulation that uses a diuretic will indeed not cause any true fat loss.

Other products make use of substances and delivery carriers that CAN target local fatty deposits and help. You cant just lump everything together, and dismiss it out of hand simply based on some rumor you ingrained into your mind 15 years ago.

Critically examine each product to find out how it is supposed to work.

That stuff capable of causing any damage? I don't like the sound of "penetrates skin and dissolves" lol, but maybe I'm just being paranoid.
