Anyone taken this?

What do ye think of this supplement. It sounds amazing and is from a reputable UK company. I know i would usually tell such people that unless its steroids you wont get these gains but if i dont mind the hassle i can get my money back if i find it no good.

Methoxy-Max (new)

A potent anabolic Isoflavone to build lean muscle, increase protein synthesis, recovery and strength

This fantastic new product contains the potent Isoflavone, called Methoxy-isoflavone, (MF). In 1974, Hungarian researchers at the research company Chinoin identified an exciting new naturally derived Flavone that exhibited potent anabolic effects. So effective were the results that they granted a U.S patent. However, since 1994, this product can now be manufactured and sold by Maximuscle. Until now, even thought we have been able to duplicate this product exactly, it has been far too expensive to sell. In late 2000, a technique was developed that enabled production at a price everyone could afford, meaning this amazing product is now available to you. MF is highly effective at increasing protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, lean muscle and strength, when combined with an effective training regime and high protein diet. Studies found it led to an 8.7% increase in lean muscle tissue in just 5 weeks, using just 300mg of MF (Equivalent to 17lbs for 200lb bodybuilder). Methoxy-max™ is offered in the strongest sublingual delivery system, to ensure that it gets straight into the blood stream for fast and effective results. Each 4ml daily serving provides 350mg of MF. Don’t confuse this product with the ineffective Ipriflavone, which has been shown not to work. Maximuscle’s Methoxy-max™ is very potent and you will not find a stronger version anywhere.

FROM what I have read its junk..

Actually that potent new isoflavone, Methoxy-isoflavone, has been around a while. From what reviews I have read it is pretty much junk. I did have a protein powder that had some mixed in at one point, but that was when I was first getting into things, after realizing that I could get a 5lb tub of whey for 20 - 25$ and this stuff was costing 30ish for a 2lb tub I didnt get anymore!!

Save your money and just get "food supplements" MRP's, Whey, egg protein powder, etc and learn how to introduce those into your diet properly. Once you have done that if you want to experiment with some of the industries new supplements go ahead but I think you will find that most of them are absolute crap and just a waste of your money!!!
Even creatine which is a highly rated supplement has been shown over and over to just pump you up with excess water. You quit creatine and your lose that extra pump!!

This stuff has been around for a while. If it were any good you would be hearing about it on the boards. Save your cash. And - one of the references cited has absolutely nothing to do with the ingredients listed, and I can't find the other reference. Buyer beware.
